The Consular section of the U.S Embassy provides a variety of emergency and non-emergency services to Americans in Norway.
We provide assistance to Americans in jail in Norway, help family members when an American citizen dies in Norway, and can assist with welfare and whereabouts inquiries involving American citizens.
We provide information for families regarding child abduction and international adoption, as well as child support issues.
Additionally, we can assist with notarial & authentication services (by appointment only).
