    On January 21, 2013, Public Affairs Officer Ron Hawkins gave a presentation in celebration of Martin Luther King Day at the Future University in Khartoum. An exhibition was organized by the students following the presentation.

    All non-immigrant visa (NIV) and following to join asylee/refugee V92/93 appointments are currently suspended. At this time we do not know when the U.S. Embassy Khartoum will resume NIV services.  NIV applicants may apply at any U.S. Embassy.

    We will attempt to contact applicants to reschedule appointments when we re-open for visa operations.
