Pick up trash along rivers and streams.

Report leaking pipes or large drums that may have chemical waste or sewage to the proper authorities.

Consider using reusable or cloth grocery bags.

Use less fertilizer on your lawn.

Recycle or discard materials into a recycling bin or a trash can.

Don’t thrown trash overboard when boating; bring back everything you take out, plus one piece of trash you find.

Recycle six-pack ring holders and be careful not to throw any type of fishing gear into waterways.
