Energy is essential to our nation’s Warfighters’ mission success. Simply put, without energy, the multitude of planes, ships, vehicles and other energy-consuming projects the military services use on a day-to-day basis would come to a grinding halt.

 As a primary level field activity of the Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Energy is responsible for providing the Department of Defense and other government agencies with comprehensive energy solutions in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Our mission has expanded from what it once was 60 years ago, and today, the growth of our military services’ energy needs is redefining many aspects of our energy support.

 With every passing day, we strengthen our bonds with our customers and suppliers as we continue to embrace our strategic focus areas of warfighter support, stewardship excellence and workforce development. In those areas, we rise to the challenges set by DLA, the services and ourselves to be a continuously improving organization, adapting our organization and our support to best serve our forces. From our everyday work to our milestone achievements, the energy support we provide to the warfighter is a source of pride to us all.
