7/18/2012 - JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- Members of Golf Battery, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment will conduct artillery-fire training at the joint base ranges July 20 through 22.
Training is scheduled to occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
This essential training helps ensure the readiness of America's fighting force. As a result of this important training, some residents may hear more noise than usual coming from the joint base's ranges and may experience possible ground shaking. Additionally, noise from the ranges may travel farther if weather conditions are overcast.
Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst works hard to minimize the impact training has on its surrounding communities and is committed to remaining good neighbors.
