PDSF Account Request Form

Use of PDSF is restricted to researchers that have made, or plan to make, contributions to shared PDSF resources. In order to gain access to PDSF, either as a NEW user or as a NEW project, please fill out the following form and press the "submit" button at the bottom of the page. Unless marked as Optional, all fields are required.

If you have an existing NERSC account and you want to be added to PDSF or to another PDSF project, DO NOT USE this form. Contact the PI of the experiment that you want to be added to and have them go into the NERSC Information Management (NIM) web interface and add your existing user account to their project.

After you have submitted this form, you must also fill out and submit the NERSC Computer User Agreement Form.

After you submit your account request, an email is sent to the Principal Investigator (PI) of the PDSF project who will then approve or deny your account request in the NERSC Information Management (NIM) system. New project requests are handled through the NERSC ERCAP submission process in the NIM website. After your account has been approved and the Account Support Office has received your Computer User Agreement Form, they will send you an email with information about your NIM login name and password.

NOTE: If you already have a NERSC account, DO NOT USE this form. Contact the PI of the PDSF project and have them add your existing account to their PDSF project.
