CMC Safety Division

Aviation Safety Programs
are central to the idea of readiness and must not be an after thoughtof our actions in combat, in training, and while on liberty.

The goal of the Avaition Safety program is to eliminate the causes of damage and injury by eliminating hazards.

Aviation Safety Truisms
  • Managing risk requires the commitment of all personnel to be truly successful.
  • Safety MUST NOT, and WILL NOT, be sacrificed for expediency or convenience.
  • Every Marine and Sailor within a Command is empowered with resolving safety issues.
  • Seek improvement in everything you do.
  • Identify hazards and take actions to correct them.
  • Aggressively challenge the actions of others if unsafe conditions become apparent.
  • You are a United States Marine - live, work, and fly to that standard.
