Principal On behalf of the faculty and staff, I welcome you to Sembach Middle School. We are dedicated to providing each student with a high quality, standards-based instructional program. Although we are a small school with approximately 200 students in grades 4–8, we offer our students many opportunities to develop their interests and abilities. A wide range of programs is offered to promote the maximum growth and development each student’s academic, social and physical domains. We also strive to instill an attitude of self-respect and confidence in each student in order for him/her to achieve the high expectations we have established.

Frequent communication between the home and school is essential in promoting highest student achievement. We encourage parents to immediately contact their child’s teacher with any questions or concerns at DSN 496-4070 or CIV 06302-67-4070 or via e-mail.Another means of communication is the newly implemented Student Information System, Grade Speed, which allows parents to monitor their children’s attendance and grades. This program also has a note feature that parents can use to directly contact their child’s teacher.

Communication also fosters greater parent involvement. The school newsletter is published twice a month in order to keep families informed about school events and activities. We invite you to become involved in the school by volunteering, frequently visiting the school, eating lunch with your child, joining the Parent Teacher Organization, attending the School Advisory Committee Meetings, and participating in our Continuing School Process.

We look forward to seeing you at Sembach Middle School and working together to provide an exemplary educational program for your child.
