Overview of BLS Data on Minimum Wage Workers

BLS data on minimum wage workers are summarized in an annual report, Characteristics of Minimum Wage Workers, wich contains tables showing data for workers with hourly earnings at or below the prevailing Federal minimum wage by selected characteristics such as geography, occupation, industry, educational attainment, age, and sex.

(BLS data on minimum wage workers come from the Current Population Survey (CPS), a monthly household survey.)
