Educational Exchange

The Cultural Affairs Office hosts American experts to Mali to conduct seminars, workshops, cultural and academic exchanges and lectures. Our programs cover a wide range of interests including economics, international relations, democracy building, American studies, environment, law, commerce, and the arts. We also organize American fine arts exhibits and public performances by American artists, musicians, and theater groups.

Educational Exchange Programs

The Public Affairs Section administers a variety of educational exchange programs focused on topics of bilateral interest, usually in cooperation with appropriate Malian institutions. Such educational exchange programs include the International Visitor Program , the Fulbright Program and the Humphrey Program .

The Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA) brings teachers to the U.S. for a six- week non-degree, non-credit professional development and academic program provides international teachers with unique opportunities to develop expertise in their subject areas, enhance their teaching skills and increase their knowledge about the United States.
