At altitude, there is decreased availability of oxygen in ambient (surrounding) air. This lowers the oxygen supply to the body, which can lead to altitude illnesses and reduced physical and mental performance. Influenza

The flu is an illness caused by influenza viruses. Because the flu is a viral infection, antibiotics are not an effective form of treatment. TBI - Traumatic Brain Injury
