Health Care Forum, October 2, Hanoi, Hilton Hotel

The Forum gathers government officials from the Central and Provincial Ministry of Health offices and a vast network of U.S. health sector businesses to highlight the many opportunities available for public-private partnerships in Vietnam. The goal is to help U.S. firms gain access to key health sector policy makers as well as fellow health companies to promote mutually beneficial policy and commercial cooperation.

USTDA Reverse Trade Mission on Waste Water Technologies, September 26-October 5, Washington, DC; New Orleans (WEFTEC, water technology trade show), and Los Angeles.

About 20 executives from Vietnam’s water supply and treatment companies will meet U.S. firms who provide products and services in the water conservation, monitoring and wastewater treatment industries.  This visit supports several World Bank and Asian Development Bank funded projects amounting to about $2.8 billion in financing. There are 12 delegates from the south including 4 from Saigon Water Supply Co, 3 from Binh Duong Water Supply and Sewage Co, 2 from Da Nang Water Company, and 2 from the Flood Control Unit of HCMC.  HCMC FCS staff Ms. Van Doan will accompany the group.

Under Secretary of Commerce, Francisco Sanchéz, Infrastructure Trade Mission to Hanoi and HCMC, November 11-15
