January 30, 2013 5th Signal Command launches theater wide health, mentorship program LUCIUS D. CLAY KASERNE, Germany (January 30, 2013) – Command Sgt. Maj. Gerald L. Tyce, 5th Signal Command, shows the audience how to do some core exercises during 5th Signal Command’s Fit to Lead kick-off event. 5th Signal Command launched their theater-wide Fit to Lead initiative at the Clay Kaserne Fitness Center. It was truly an honor to spend time with our chaplains, “Our Army’s First Responders.” These spiritual leaders are change agents who are preaching, teaching and reaching in a dynamically changing strategic environment with a transforming Army that is moving into a post deployment phase.
I applaud each one of them for their unwavering support to each Soldier, Civilian and Family Member. It is important to remember that we are all on the same team and care for these caregivers who sacrifice in so many ways.
