Trade Events in the U.S.
Every year, a number of major U.S. trade shows request inclusion in the U.S. Commercial Service's International Buyer Program. In order to be considered, the fair must be the leading show in its industry, a good percentage of its exhibitors must be exporters (or be interested in exporting), and there must be special provisions or services for foreign business visitors.
Registering in advance through the Embassy may allow you the following benefits:
- Complimentary registration – save as much as US$100 for some shows!
- Matchmaking service provided by representatives of the U.S. Department of Commerce
- On-site briefing/seminar upon request
- Invitation to the International Reception.
- Use of International Commerce Centers with meeting space, computer use and refreshments throughout the day.
