Most honorably discharged Veterans are eligible for health care benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In particular, all Veterans who have served in our recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan can receive cost-free medical care for any condition related to their service in those countries for five years after the date of their discharge or release. We have prepared a series of public service announcements inviting Veterans and their families to take advantage of the benefits a grateful nation offers in return for their service and sacrifices.
