New Courier and Other Services for Non-Immigrant Visa Applicants Starting 19 December 2012

We are pleased to announce that Mission Turkey, including both Embassy Ankara and Consulate General Istanbul, will introduce improved visa processing arrangements on 19 December 2012, which will make the entire process of making visa appointments, paying visa fees, and receiving documents easier and cheaper for our applicants.

Starting 19 December 2012Akbank will collect visa application fees as part of our new system. The Turkish Post Office (PTT) will become our courier service for passport and visa delivery, which will be made to the local post office of your choice.

Applicants will pay only the required visa application fee, with NO additional fees for appointment scheduling or passport/visa delivery. These costs will be included in the single application fee, which will remain the same.
