That you should never do business in Nigeria without ensuring that you are dealing with a vetted, confirmed Nigerian company (there are many).  Please check with the U.S. Commercial Service prior to sending any money, samples or business information.  The Commercial Service maintains a positive list database of known companies (about 6,000) in every field, and can perform background checks as part of our fee-based core services.
