Brunei Darussalam is a member of the ASEAN, APEC, WTO, BIMP-EAGA (Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia & the Philippines-East Asia Growth Area) and the Multilateral Agreement on the Liberalization of International Air Transportation (MALIAT). In addition to trade liberalization regimes under ASEAN, Brunei Darussalam is party to the Trans-pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP), of which the United States is also a negotiating party.
