Risk management techniques are continuously applied within all DDESS schools to ensure compliance with commonly accepted OSHA safety standards. Additionally, we assess the ability of all DDESS schools to respond to bio hazards that can occur in school communal settings. Our safety programs are conducted according to the following regulations:

• DoDEA Safety Program
• DoDEA Chemical Hygiene & Safety Program
• DoDEA Blood Borne Pathogen Exposure Control Program

Note:  In accordance with the DDESS Safety Policy it is the responsibility of every person in our schools to ensure that our educational programs and all support services protect and promote the health and safety of our students, our employees, and school visitors.  The DDESS Director has charged every DDESS team member to become familiar with the above mentioned regulations and operating procedures.
