School Liaison Officer (SLO)

School Liaison Officers, or SLOs as they are sometimes called, provide a continuing resource for parents and students in DoDDS Europe school and military communities.

The role of the School Liaison Officer is to connect parents and students with information, resources and people. If you have a question about your school, child youth services, or PCSing your School Liaison Officer is your transition expert.

The SLO works with community members, military and civilian organizations, garrison and school staff, parents and students. They meet with internal and external customers to help them make sense of processes and connections that can often be overwhelming. Educating all of us in support of the community Commander, CYS Service policies and programs is their goal.

Get to know the SLO where your family is stationed. When questions arise they will be glad to assist you and help resolve issues in your community.
