Canandaigua VA Medical Center Celebrates 80th Anniversary

During the week of February 10th, the Canandaigua VA Medical Center and the Rochester VA Outpatient Clinic (ROPC) will host a week of events to celebrate “National Salute to Veteran Patients Week” and the 80th Anniversary of the Canandaigua VA.

Canandaigua VA Medical Center Voluntary Service, in conjunction with several other sponsors, will be hosting a variety of activities. Highlighted events for  Hospitalized Veterans include:

Sunday, February 10
8:00AM - Off-Station Breakfast - Sponsored by Lima American Legion

Monday, February 11
9:00AM  - Patriotic pin distribution.
1:00 PM - Canandaigua VAMC 80th Anniversary Celebration
7:00PM  - Ontario Finger Lakes Beekeepers Association- Building # 5 Auditorium
7:00PM -  Cone Party - Sponsored by Ed and Marian Moeller 
 
Tuesday, February 12  
2:00PM - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Zavota Family Van Donation to The Homeless Veterans Program
7:00PM -  Cone Party - Sponsored by DAV Chapter #15
                       
Wednesday, February 13
10:00AM - Fruit Trays for residents - Sponsored by Voluntary Service 
10:00AM - Community Visit - Naples Activity Center, Naples, NY
