Passports and Reports of Birth
Welcome to the Passport & Citizenship Unit of the U.S. Embassy Luanda. We provide services for American Citizens residing in Angola. We are open for Passport and Birth Report services Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 14:00 and 16:30. The Unit is closed to the public on American and Angolan holidays.
The U.S. Embassy Consular Section would like to bring to your attention upcoming changes in our passport and notarial services.
Starting Jan. 1, 2012, U.S. citizens will be required to make an online appointment in order to submit passport or consular report of birth abroad applications at the Embassy. Each family member seeking a service related to passports or birth registration will need a separate appointment. Individuals requesting notarial services will also need to make online appointments. This new appointment system is intended to improve customer service and efficiency.
