Consulate Johannesburg Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

The Johannesburg Consulate General will honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy with a day of service at Nomonde’s HIV/AIDS Children’s Home, which cares for over 60 orphaned and/or abused children. This is a voluntary service event that will be led by Consul General Earl Miller and staffed by Consulate General employees and their families.

Members of the Consulate General’s team will work with the home’s staff to make plumbing and electrical repairs, paint, clean, perform yard work, and make other improvements that will greatly contribute to the welfare and wellbeing of the children.
