PCS AND CIVILIANS REPORTING-IN PROCEDURES:

ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL DOES NOT HAVE A CENTRALIZED IN-PROCESSING POINT.
Installation In-Processing checklists must be obtained from the individual commands. If you are a member of the TACOM-Rock Island Detachment personnel should consult MSG Building 109, 1st floor. ASC personnel should consult your sponsor for In-Processing information.  All other personnel should consult either your sponsor or your Human Resource Management Department for check in procedures.  Your individual duty office may have additional requirements for in-processing.  It is important that all active duty Service Members meet with the Health Benefits Advisor to ensure that they are enrolled in the proper TRICARE region.  Rock Island Arsenal is considered a remote location. The Health Benefits Advisor is located in BLDG 110, East Wing, Basement.

CIVILIANS IN PROCESSING:

All employees who have relocated from another government installation to the Rock Island Arsenal should meet with the Benefits Advisor and the Permanent Change of Station Officer in the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center located in Building 102, 2nd Floor,SW Wing. Phone 309-782-1852, DSN 793-1852

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS:

DO NOT FORGET to have the following relevant documents with you while moving: several copies of your PCS orders, official birth certificates, immunization records, school transcripts, medical/dental records, wills, power of attorney, marriage license, divorce decree, adoption decree, naturalization papers, social security cards, car title and shipping papers (if coming from overseas), car insurance policy information, driver's license, car registration, household goods shipping inventory, employment records and references, and pet records.

This session will offer briefings and a tour of the US Army Garrison Rock Island Arsenal programs that attendees are eligible for, which includes a historical tour and overview of installation, and a walking tour of the USAG-RIA Joint Mfg & Technolgy Center.
