Formed in 2003, High Flutin,’ the Air National Guard Band of the South flute ensemble, is the only ensemble of its kind in the Air National Guard. The group, consisting of piccolo, flute, alto flute, and bass flute, has a varied musical palette, with repertoire ranging from classical/traditional music and Broadway show-tunes to more contemporary pieces and their own unique arrangements.
The group has performed at the National Flute Convention and for audiences throughout Georgia. The musicians are experienced clinicians and music educators and are available for masterclass and coachings in addition to performance.
