Biometrics

Biometrics staff of Fisheries and Ecological Services provides statistical support to biologists in the regional office and five field offices, including the Conservation Genetics Laboratory. While the main focus is on the Fisheries Program, other programs are also supported. Primary activities include designing research studies, analyzing data, modeling population dynamics, and developing improved statistical methods.
