  • Beaver Club Visits NWRC: Approximately 50 members of The Beaver Club of Lafayette toured the USGS National Wetlands Research Center on March 7, 2012. The Beaver Club is a civic organization dedicated to the betterment and promotion of the community. (Gabrielle Bodin; Lafayette, La.; 337-266-8655)
  • NWRC Scientist to Teach Workshop in Finland on Structural Equation Modeling: USGS National Wetlands Research Center scientist James Grace will teach a workshop on structural equation modeling to an international team of research scientists at the University of Helsinki, Finland the week of March 12. The team is involved in a collaborative effort between Denmark and Finland to study climate change effects on tundra ecosystems. (James Grace; Lafayette, La.; 337-266-8632)
