  • NWRC Scientist Details Recent Watershed Research: USGS National Wetlands Research Center (NWRC) scientist Stephen Hartley presented information on his research work with NWRC scientist Jill Jenkins at a Science and Data Team Meeting in Guntersville, Ala., on May 6-7, 2009, and at a Southeast Aquatic Resources Partnership (SARP) Steering Committee Meeting in Athens, Texas, on May 19-20, 2009. Hartley discussed the status of their aquatic resource conservation efforts in the Red and Sabine Watersheds. The research is being conducted as part of SARP. In Guntersville, Hartley also demonstrated a Web-based application for the watershed using ArcGIS Server technology. (Stephen Hartley, Lafayette, La., 337-266-8543)
