USGS scientist Tom Doyle was interviewed by KATC-TV (ABC affiliate in Lafayette, LA) about using computer models to study and possibly predict hurricane activity. The story aired on the local evening news Nov. 17.

USGS scientists Greg Smith, Tommy Michot and Tom Doyle, USGS geographer Larry Handley and USGS engineer Scott Wilson were interviewed by ESPN2 television for a story on Hurricane Katrina’s effects on Louisiana wetlands and wildlife. The story aired Nov. 19 on ESPN2’s Bass Center program.

USGS scientists Wylie Barrow, Tommy Michot, Lori Randall, Clint Jeske, and Chris Wells were interviewed in Cameron Parish, LA, for a story about the effects of Hurricane Rita on the food resources for migratory birds along the Gulf Coast. The story was published Nov. 9 in The Independent (Lafayette, LA).
