Community Justice Advisory Networks

Back to Partnerships

CSOSA has organized a Community Justice Advisory Network (CJAN) in each of the city's seven police districts.  The mission of the CJAN is to resolve key public safety issues/concerns resulting in an improved quality of life throughout the District of Columbia.

These networks consist of community members, faith-based organizations, business leaders, schools, civic organizations, businesses, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, local law enforcement entities and other stakeholders who work together to identify solutions to public safety issues and to promote opportunities for offenders to become productive, law-abiding members of their communities.

Regular public meetings are held for each CJAN. For more information about how you can participate or join the CJAN in your neighborhood, please contact the Office of Community Justice Programs at 202-220-5320.
