Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation New Dawn

The Fayetteville VA Medical Center OEF/OIF/OND Program offers compassionate and caring individualized case management services to honorably discharged Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, including Reserves and National Guard, who served in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation New Dawn (OND).  Eligibility has been extended to five years of free health care (from the date of separation from active service) for conditions that may be related to military service.  This health care is provided regardless of your income or eligibility status.

Case managers stand ready to provide needs assessments, referrals and ongoing support for reintegration to the civilian sector.  The program staff consists of licensed clinical social workers, registered nurses, a program support assistant and a transition patient advocate who serves as the point of contact to transitioning severely injured/severely ill OEF/OIF/OND Veterans and their families.  The TPA also advocates for services for the Veteran and works with hospital staff to help eliminate barriers to treatment.
