Aloha & Welcome to Pacific Islands VA Health Care System's Voluntary Service page. Volunteers are a priceless asset to the VA and veterans. The Veterans Affairs Service Program’s mission is to assist in serving America’s veterans and their families with dignity and compassion. Volunteers at the Spark M. Matsunaga VA Center are utilized in a variety of ways including general clerical work throughout the facility, assisting staff in caring for patients at our Center for Aging, providing informational services and recreational therapy.

Contact the Volunteer Coordinator’s Office at 808-433-0109, or stop by the Administrative Office on the third floor of the Ambulatory Care Building.

Additionally, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) provides van service for veterans who are unable to get to the VA or Tripler Army Medical Center for their appointments.
