Makua Military Reservation

The Department of the Army completed the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Military Training Activities at Makua Military Reservation (MMR), Oahu, Hawaii, assessing environmental consequences of proposed military training at MMR for active Army, Marine Corps and Hawaii National Guard units.

Live-fire training at MMR ceased in 2004 pending the completion of the EIS.

The Record of Decision (ROD) for this action was signed July 16, 2009. A copy of the decision is available under the "Record of Decision" link on the left.
