SSG Tony Stevens is from Powder Springs, Georgia a suburb outside Atlanta.   He enlisted in the Army in 2003 as a field artillery tactical data systems operator 13D.  He deployed three times, twice with the 3rd Infantry Division out of Fort Stewart, Georgia. Another deployment was with the 101st Airborne Division 3rd Brigade Rakkasans, 3/320th Field Artillery.  In 2011, SSG Stevens cross-trained and became a broadcast journalist.  He says, "I feel like this was the thing for me because I'm a people person, I like to talk and smile a lot.  I would like to thank the people who supported me along the way in my journey into my new career."
