Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory provides training and documentation addressing how emergency response personnel can most effectively prepare for and respond to a nuclear or radiological attack.
The Key Response Planning Factors website provides a suite of publications describing a variety of emergency response scenarios, locations, and responder personnel. Emergency response publications provide critical planning information.
A suite of multimedia-rich training modules uses non-scientific language to explain the dynamic nature of such an event, using the National Capital Region and Los Angeles as specific examples. The presentations are available to federal, state, and local emergency response trainers. This training was developed in collaboration with Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of Emergency Response.
