Outpatient
Complete outpatient evaluation of arterial and venous diseases. Vascular Laboratory is credited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) for peripheral vascular and cerebrovascular non-invasive studies; Examinations offered included carotid duplex, air plethysmography, extremity resting and exercise segmental pressures and pulse volume recordings, exercise treadmills, digital pulse plethysmography, peripheral arterial and venous duplex, extremity graft surveillance duplex, and renal and visceral duplex. Approximately 1500 vascular laboratory studies are performed each year.
Inpatient
The vascular surgery service is available 24-hours a day for inpatient and emergency consultations. Currently, inpatient services include the treatment of thoracoabdominal and abdominal aortic aneurysms, upper and lower extremity occlusive disease, extra cranial cerebrovascular disease, peripheral vascular trauma, hemodialysis access, and venous disease. Close cooperation with the interventional radiology service and an expanding experience with endovascular treatment of occlusive and aneurysmal lesions allows the therapeutic approach to be optimally tailored to an individual patient's needs.
