Lost Your Passport?

  • Although the loss of a U.S. passport can be inconvenient, it is not a life or death emergency for which we can provide after-hours service.  We want to help you replace your passport as soon as possible during our weekday business hours. Please see our Lost/Stolen Passports page.

Out of Money?

  • Running out of financial resources while traveling abroad can be an emergency.  Outside of office hours, we can help you connect with family and friends on the homefront who can help out by transferring money to you wherever you are.  Visit this website page to learn about receiving money in France.

STEP PROGRAM

  • STEP PROGRAM Living in France, or traveling around the globe − American citizens may enroll in the State Department’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive travel updates, assistance in emergency situations, and routine embassy information.
