Call 1-1-2 for emergency service from Dutch Police, Rescue, and Fire Departments.
American citizens in need of emergency assistance from the U.S. Government during regular office hours (8:30 am - 5:00 pm), should call (020) 575-5309. Our office is located at Museumplein 19, 1071 DJ Amsterdam.
American citizens in need of emergency assistance from the U.S. Government outside regular office hours, should call (070) 310-2209. This number should also be used for emergencies during business hours on the last Wednesday of each month when the Consulate General is closed to the public. Please note only U.S. citizens are eligible for this emergency assistance.
