Description…

NUCB1, a major calcium-binding protein of the Golgi, is thought to have a key role in Golgi calcium homeostasis and Ca(2+)-regulated signal transduction events. It is expressed both in fetal and adult heart, lung, liver, kidney and brain, and in adult skeletal muscle, placenta and pancreas.
