The U.S. Embassy advises all region Lebanon to enroll with the Embassy, so that in case of emergency we may contact them via a warden network. To do so, please visit the following link: Smart Traveler Enrollment Program

In the event of a genuine emergency, American citizens may phone the Embassy at any time at 961-4-543600 and ask to speak to the American Citizen Services Section (during business hours) or the duty officer (after hours or weekends).

American Citizen Services Section Hours of Operation

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 – 11:00 (Only by online appointment through Embassy's website)

Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA): Wednesdays 8:00 – 11:00   (By Appointment Only)

Federal Benefit – Check Collection Only: Tuesdays and Thursdays    14:00 – 16:00

Phone Call Inquiries:  Monday through Friday 14:00 – 16:00

Please note that the American Citizen Services Unit will not be accepting routine phone calls from 14:00 to 16:00 on March 01, March 22 and March 28, 2013 .
