2/5/2013 - SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- The 20th Fighter Wing, is slated to host two town hall meetings for all base personnel, family members and retirees, with the first session at 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the second meeting at 6:30 to 8 p.m., Feb. 26, at the base theater here.
The intent is to have policymakers and customer service managers from across the installation provide an update on programs, services and issues affecting all of Team Shaw.
Organizers promise updates on a range of areas of concern including, but not limited to:
20th Mission Support Group activities and plans:
20th Force Support Squadron (volunteer/key spouse program, school liaison and employment opportunities);
20th Civil Engineer Squadron (construction and housing privatization);
Forest City, family housing management;
Commissary and exchange;
20th Medical Group;
20th Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office (wing and community events);
Base chapel.
"If you are interested in knowing what is going on at Shaw, here is your opportunity to hear about many subjects and topics and to ask questions on what is ahead," explained Keith Kellner, 20th MSG deputy director of installation support.
After the presentations, there will be a break, then a panel of representatives will accept all questions from attendees. For information, call 895-2004.
