Types of Grants
MEPI offers a variety of funding mechanisms to support the efforts of reform-minded individuals and organizations working throughout the region. Since instructions for how to apply for a MEPI grant differ with each grant, applicants should refer directly to the specific application form provided in these pages or the central MEPI website to gain more information.
MEPI Local Grants
These grants, which usually range from $25,000 to 100,000 and can take from 3 months to two years, are provided to support local "grassroots" reform projects. Applicants including individuals and non-governmental organizations (NGO's), should apply directly to the U.S. Embassy in their country.
