U.S. Embassy Cultural Affairs Officer, Karen Grissette used the occasion to present reading books to Homboza Primary School students.

Officials from the American embassy were invited to break the fast with Homboza villagers, Kisarawe on Monday, September 14, 2009.

Speaking at the occasion the U.S. Embassy Political/Economic chief, Carl B. Fox said America will always stand for the universal rights of all people to speak their mind, practice their religion, contribute fully to society and have confidence in the rule of law.
