The American Citizen Services Unit of the Consular Section is located at No. 5 Tawfik Diab Street, Garden City, Cairo, Egypt.

The American Citizen Services Unit assists people with passport renewal, registration of Americans residing in or visiting Egypt, birth reports for children of American citizens born in Egypt, voter registration, income tax forms, notarial services, and emergency services for American citizens. As a non-claiming Federal Benefit Post, the consular section carries out federal agencies' requests for services; distributes federal benefits checks; and hands out available forms. US Citizens needing any of the above services must make an appointment by clicking on “schedule an appointment” on the left-hand side bar.
