Round-Table Discussion Brings Together Experts from Finland and Harvard (Jan. 23, 2013)
A delegation from the Harvard University Doctor of Education Leadership program spent a week in Helsinki exploring the Finnish education system and gave a talk on "Effective Community Engagement and Fostering Community Partnership" at the American Resource Center.

President Obama's Second Term Foreign Policy Priorities Interest Students in Turku (Jan. 23, 2013)
Last week, Turku University students studying a course on "Europe and the Other: Reversing the Perspective" learned about the U.S. perspective of the E.U. as David McGuire, Counselor for Press and Cultural Affairs, spoke and answered questions about U.S.-European relations and U.S. foreign policy issues.

Public Affairs Officer David McGuire Receives Warm Reception and Tough Questions from Lahti Students (Jan. 16, 2013)
After a tour of the Steiner School in Lahti, a spontaneous singing performance by first graders, and a welcome coffee with staff and students, it was time for McGuire to discuss politics with the upper secondary school students and their teachers.
