Administrative Processing
If a Consular officer has told you at the end of your visa interview that your case will need to undergo "administrative processing" you will be contacted as soon as this processing is completed. Please be assured that your visa has not been refused at this time. Administrative processing means the Consular officer needs to take further steps to be able to make a decision regarding your application. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of the visa interview but the exact timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case. We will contact you when ready to proceed.
