The U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service provides market information, business facilitation services, advocacy, and high-level access to U.S. companies interested in exporting to or doing business in Honduras. The Honduran market is extremely receptive to the vast majority of U.S. exports, from medical equipment and consumer goods to industrial equipment and agricultural inputs.
Our staff (located in our offices in Tegucigalpa) cover the entire country, including San Pedro Sula and the north coast. This area has the second largest city in Honduras, is home to many Maquilas (assembly plants), the best seaport in Central America (Puerto Cortes), and is a favorite vacation site for Hondurans. With increased trade as a result of CAFTA and a Millennium Challenge Corporation road project about to be inaugurated that would better connect the rural parts of the region, it is an excellent potential destination for U.S. goods and services.

The Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture.
