- As a senior in high school, Rebecca Dupas took part in a program sponsored by the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, called Bringing the Lessons Home. The program teaches young people about the Holocaust, so that they can help spread understanding about the dangers of hatred and prejudice.

As a member of the Museum's Speakers Bureau, Charles shares his memories of escaping from Vienna to New York shortly after the outbreak of World War II, then returning to Europe in 1943 as a member of the US Army (http://bit.ly/VWFcr8). - Mexican-American Anthony Acevedo, a U.S. Army medic, was captured by Nazi soldiers during the Battle of the Bulge in January, 1945. As he cared for his fellow prisoners in the POW camp at Berga, Acevedo kept a diary of their experiences, wh...ich he donated to the Museum in 2010.
