Destructive Weather

Effective June 1, MCAS Beaufort will be in Tropical Cyclone Condition V for Hurricane season until Nov. 30. There are currently no threats. Because of El Nino conditions, it is likely to be a below average tropical cyclone season for the Atlantic. NOAA is predicting 6-11 named storms, 3-6 hurricanes and 0-2 major hurricanes. Monitor your local weather sources and be prepared!
