A variety of NOAA research platforms are used to conduct research in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, including:

Regionally-owned and operated research platforms, including submersibles, large and small vessels, and aircraft are also available for use. This list is for information purposes only; the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary does not necessarily endorse any of these research platforms.
